There’s no more time to waste! It’s now November, time for the people of Warwickshire to start their Christmas party planning!

The Four Penny Pub has got you covered throughout the festive season, from your annual office do to your New Year’s Eve shindig. Read on to make sure you don’t miss out on all of our end-of-year treats…

The Run-Up

We’re in the run-up now, the first part of a recognisable three-part series. There’s the lead-up, which starts at the beginning of November and drums up anticipation, the height of the Christmas season and the climactic New Year’s Eve celebrations, seeing off the old year with a bang.

This first part is where you dip your toe into the water, heading to your local pub for a glass of something warm and spicy, with the first festive tunes drifting in over the radio. Decorations go up at The Four Penny Pub, making for a warm and welcoming bar complete with mulled wines and ciders, a relaxed introduction to the season of merrymaking. You don’t need to be a veteran Four Penny guest either – pop in and see us for a great evening.

It’s also the window for office parties, with companies tending to choose the last Friday in November and the first two in December for eating, drinking and celebrating. Our Christmas party menu is available from the 24th November right until the 24th December, welcoming employees from here, there and everywhere for a chance to let their hair down.

Christmas Party Time

Mid-December arrives and you’re snowed under with Christmas party invites and family get-togethers. We can help you craft a celebration that stands out from the crowd, featuring a sophisticated three-course meal in the relaxed atmosphere of our family-friendly pub.

Take a glimpse of our menu to see what we mean! Imagine a meal consisting of crab pâté with tarragon and pink grapefruit, followed by turkey breast with the nation’s favourite accompaniments, including pigs in blankets, honey-roasted parsnips, stuffing and a must-have portion of roast potatoes. Even our sprouts are sautéed with bacon and gravy – we’ll have no soggy sprouts here!

Delectable vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options ensure that everyone gets their fill, whether that’s a cheese souffle, a mini-pumpkin stuffed with rice, or a dark chocolate pot du crème. New Year’s Revels

By this point, Christmas party season might be coming to a close, but our desire to celebrate is as strong as ever. We’re going to see out 2022 in style at The Four Penny Pub, providing you with a day and night of revelry in conjunction with Warwick Racecourse. Less than a 10 minute walk from our building, they’re providing seven New Year’s Eve races against the backdrop of betting, bars and catering, with an energetic Irish party band starting off your festivities.

This sets you up nicely for the evening at The Four Penny, where live music reverbs off the walls as you eat your way through a plentiful eight-course taster menu. The table is yours for the entire night (so booking is essential) as you enjoy nostalgic Elvis tunes or the wild enthusiasm of The Folly Brothers band.
